RF Modulator sound issue and 2 horizontal lines through screen. Fix???????

Hey,

So today i have setup a vu duo using a rf modulator (maplins). Got the picture up but on ever channel selected on the modulator im getting 2 horizontal lines move down the screen and white noise sound when sound settings BG and buzzing sound when set on I.

Been manually setting ****ogue channels trying to find a fix but every channel seems the same problem.

Apart from the lines the picture is good.

I have 2 rf cables that are go into the wall going upstairs suppliying 4 tvs upstairs, i bought a 4 way amplifier so i could accomodate both rf feeds.

Is 1 rf a input and another a output? currently both rf wires are plugged into the amplifier so both acting as output could that be the issue?

Existing rf setup was working fine using sly HD box.

Bit stuck wondering if anyone can help me out?

1 input on the amp will be UHF (TV), the other VHF (radio), I'm guessing.
The problem you're having could be a multitude of things.
If you're in the uk, sound is definitely PAL I
Why do you need 2 inputs, what signals are you trying to distribute?

Yes 1 is uhf and other fm. I had the amp so i could have 2 outputs, its actually for a friend and hes got 2 coaxial cables coming out of wall that originally went into his sly hd box but thinking about it i think 1 went into the rf input and the other was output so i will only need the output and can forget about amplifier.

Just want to send decent sound and picture to upstairs bedrooms, The picture is good its just the horizontal lines and the buzzing sound.

Think im gonna try the Triax Tri-Link modulator and see if that work?
