Hi guys

Wonder if there was a plugin available to allow me to switch between CCcam.cfg files without having to boot up the pc and edit the file to disable Clines.
In an ideal world i would love to be able to go into the CCCam info menu and check on/off the config file i wish to use.
I did today play about with having a CCcam2 bin file and CCcam2 config file, there was no problem with running CCcam2 bin but it read the original CCcam.cfg file so back to square one at the moment.
I did read something about a plugin for blackhole that allows this to happen, maybe if no beast exist now then maybe andy and his gang can look into developing a script that might be incorparated in the next vix upgrade.

been using CccamSwitchBh in blackhole for a while which does just as you require, its very handy and one of the main reasons i use blackhole TBH, would be nice to see it in vix perhaps?

Hi guys

OK been playing tonight and have CCcam switcher working on the duo with VIX 2.3 image and its working fine no crashing and i tested 4 different CCcam.cfg files with different Clines and all work also showing the right details in the CCcam info menu too

The attached file is the CCcam switcher you need to unzip on your pc and the use FTP to add file to the following location /user/lib/enigma2/pythons/plugins/extensions post the CCcam switcher folder you unpacked there and exit
Now using your remote navigate to the plugins and press the green button then exit and you should see the CCcam Switcher in the plugins list
Your see you have five CCcam.cfg files you can use if you see the var/etc file your have 5 copies of your original CCcam.cfg file like this CCcam_0.cfg CCcam_1.cfg
All you need to do now is edit the clines for each and when you open the CCcam switcher your see you can name them and check you have the right server working just follow the screen instructions its quite simple

Have fun

CCcam Switch

Hi Guys

I have now completed test on my VU Solo and can confirm CCcam Switch is working on this model too.
It did crash at first but I found out it didnt for some reason add in the /var/etc folder the extra CCcam.cfg files for example CCcam_1.cfg . . . .CCcam_2.cfg etc so i manually inserted them also i think changing the name of the first CCcam_0.cfg helps , its default is called original so remove the name leave it blank and reboot the receiver.
Anyway like i said its working fine now no crashing and CCcam info reads the config your using ok

have fun

Excellent Post !!, noticed there also a few updates to download today using Vix 2.3 :-)

Cheers mate. Working fine on my duo also!

Just wondering why is so useful to have a config switcher?
Isnt possible to have multiple cline in the same cfg file?

Hi mate

As rossi2000 says is right however some people may have more than a single cline and wish to isolate viewing from a certain server rather than having a free for all of the same program comming from various source.
By the way since this post was made i found out VIX has CCcam switcher installed in the image just add your additional CCcam.cfg files like in the post above then press blue button select CCcam info the menu you should see your files listed highlight the one u wish to use and green button.
regards

I have tried using multiple CCcam.cfg files but find it very flakey when switching configs, sometimes it works other times it deletes the CCcam.cfg file and green screens. What I find best is to have multiple lines in the one config file and add the provider details for the provider you dont want to view with that particular line in squiggly brackets at the end of the line. So if you have a line that gives you multiple providers and you would like to omit viewing say Sky Italia with that line, just add {093B:000000} at the end of your line.

Chunkey

I have just upgraded to VIX 3.0 and Cccam switcher comes up with an Magic number error while trying to get it back working. Do I need a new version for this image? Thanks.

Very likely, not a plugin that has been tested by anyone in the team but if it was working and aint now, your gonna have to ask the author to update it for 3.0

Or find a version that has the source files in it; that will probably work.

But: the build-in CCcam Info also does that job (CCcam Info --> Menu --> choose config), so why use a plugin at all?

Thanks stanman and Rob for the info. I have been using the Cccam switcher because earlier VIX images would crash using the built in one ( I didn't want to bother any one here as the switcher worked ). Iam also having problems with the TS panel with the same magic error, I was hoping the panel would have the latest Cccam switcher. Thanks for the image and hard work.

Just had a check with built in one and it now works. Just have to wait for TS panel update.

Im trying my best not to break forum rules here:)) because if you have multiple servers and the some of the same packages on different servers, with a particular server being better for a specific package than the other, you would want to connect to the one thats best for that package....

thats whay having multiple config files is much easier...

Another option would be to add a folder in your var/etc folder and add whatever number of cccam.cfg files (in a seperate folder each within this folder). Then using filebrowser plugin, copy the individual cfg file you want to use to var/etc on screen using the plugin and yellow button to copy....and then you are now running that cfg.....

Pretty easy to use, although i had problems using this plugin on sif image, works fine on vix and black hole. No quite the same thing as the cccam switcher but another option

The Vix Team in NO WAY endorse the use of TSpanel..

No one knows for sure whats in it, What lurks in it, and what its watching you do..
Its full of stuff that has no quality control..
I know for sure.. i wouldn`t put it anywhere near any of my boxes..
