It should do, i have version 2 - green led and works here np. I think that may V4 but no reason why it should not. Drivers are in the feed.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Would that be the "sundtek.controlcenter (1.0-20110318-r2) - control sundtek usb stick from Enigma2" found through download plugins/dvb ?

If so, would it just mean, plug it in & download those drivers, then I should be good for setting the tuner up in the normal way?

Yes, but you will need to reboot after installing drivers.

I used the version 4 on vix 2.2 and it worked, but took sometime in setting up. Stability was ok,but setup required me to have the usb plugged into the front and i had to use the usb extension and power or else it didnt work. Hopefully, the newer drivers make the setup easier.

With regards to actual performance. The usb tuner handled HD well, but took longer to get the channel zap and sometimes would require a couple of goes. the power would always need to be on. Also i couldnt get the usb tuner to wireless streaming to ipad, the internal tuners worked fine. Considering the tuner costs £50-70 IMO its better to go for an ultimo if you really need the extra tuner.

Ultimos can be got on the continent for good price with 3 tuners and two years warranty. The Extras like wifi dongle could be sold on if not required further reducing your costs. Overall youll probably spend £60 more with an ultimo, but youll get much more reliable and configurable hardware.
