Hi

I'm running VIX 2.1 with latest updates. I have a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T DTT receiver.

When switching to the DTT channels quite often the system hangs - spinner constantly going and unresponsive to r/c. Even restarting Enigma2 doesn't sort it - needs a full reboot.

Any idea what is causing this - I haven't noticed it before, but I have only used the DTT channels in the last week or so.

This is usually caused by a signal problem. You might need a masthead amp to improve your tv reception or better aerial. I too use Nova T with Vix 2.1. It works a treat.

I have got same issues with Sundtek, i tried adjust my antenna, but there is still some BER.

Just to get back to this - from a discussion on another forum it could be due to using a USB stick for EPG/Picon/Timeshift. The system may not have enough power for both USB devices.

I've tried moving the EPG storage and Timeshift back to the HDD and system stability has improved dramatically.

cheers keep us updated on this. another solution is to try a powered usb hub and see if that works
