This issue is true for ET9000 and for ET5000 on different TVs. I think its since I first tried a OE2.0 based image, but it could be that this is true for older images as well. This applies to other images too (HDF-Teamimage for example).

If I set up my TV to "Overscan" or "No Scan" the picture is 100% ok. Unfortunately many TVs tend to set this setting back to "automatic" or "16:9" by themselfs as default value. And in this mode the TVs seem to zoom in by a few pixel. For example the left side of the OpenViX "Main Menu" is cut off.

Enigma video settings do not affect this at all (Pan/Scan, automatic etc).

If my description is not clear enough I am glad to provide pictures.

yes you are correct the problem is with the tvs and not the image, if you cannot disable the setting permanently on the tv then at least with vix you can change things in the OSD menu.

2.4 on my ET9200 was fine when set to AUTO for 4:3 but v3.0 i have the same issue as posted in the first post.
