As part of a new build, I am putting in the TV distribution.
3 TV points will have 2 coax (and one Cat6) cables back to a single point.
I think the above setup would work fine for either type of satellite LNB
The man differences I see are:
Unicable II advantages
Signal can be split (not really a big one for me)
A single cable can provide multiple feeds from the dish. (I am considering getting a STB with FBC tuners which would maximise this)
Unicable II disadvantages
Receiver needs to be Unicable compatible. I believe pretty much everything made in the last 5 years will work.
Does anyone see any reason why not to go with a Unicable II LNB?
