[VU+ Duo4K SE] Upgraded to 6.3.001 Can't find YouTube Plugin

Hi Guys, recently upgraded to new image but can't find YouTube plugin to install, any ideas..........Spevs

If its not listed in remove plugin list and not in download plugins maybe its not compatible as not been updated to latest python

Usually happens when things are not upgraded at their end

I hope that's not the case as it was really useful to be able to watch and download YouTube video's, one of my boxes is still on 6.2.011 and YouTube Plugin is still working fine on that one. Be interesting to hear more opinions..........?

I can a youtubeplayer in the plugins list

No I can see it in the plugins in the oe-alliance web site

Just looked in download plugins extensions and youtube is in my downloadables

As this is a build issue I am going to run an interim build, including kodi. Might take a few days.

Youtube should be installed with Chromium on Vu+ 4K boxes.

2 different options.

The Vu+ one that installs with chromium is youtube tv.

The other is just a plugin.

I was trying to say if you really want youtube, then use the one installed with chromium until the other plugin is on the feeds

I was lucky to read you post, copied out the whole YouTube folder before upgrading and copied it back afterwards. After a reboot YouTube works again.

Thanks again Huevos, YouTube installed from Plugins on all three of my boxes using 6.3.002 and all working great...............Good Stuff
