VIX 2.4 software update

Hi Guys,

My Duo is telling me to update to build 151, when I run the Software update 18 packages are downloaded. I can start the unattended upgrade and everything reboots as normal BUT nothing has installed. There is no error message but once the Duo has restarted, the update icon starts to flash again, I go through the whole procedure and the same 18 packages are identified as the outstanding update.

Any ideas?

Try a telnet session, with the opkg update && opkg upgrade command.

The default login details for FTP and telnet access are

user name : root
password : left blank ie nothing set.

In that case i'd just backup the things you want or need to keep then do a full fresh flash to 2.4-151 as something has gone wrong for you.

before you reflash try this.

Place the opkg folder in the attached file to /etc and then reboot and try again to update

Phoenix -reflashed and restored settings and all is good. The update to build 151 worked no problem.

Max - Thanks for the suggestion, I only saw your post after I had reflashed. I will keep that solution in mind for future reference anyway!

well i'm glad your now sorted, first thing to do once your setup again is make a full set of image and settings backups incase something goes wrong in the future.
