same author and same shoddy work so it is valid in my opinion.

I respect all viewpoints mentioned but nobody made investigation to confirm what have been said about TSpanel and TSmedia
one mad person said in openpli forum that TSpanel overwrites system files then all follow this person and repeated his rubbish about writing system files,waiting for anybody to give me evidence for that.
I am using TSpanel for many years in different models and different images including openvix and haven't noticed any major problem from any kind
regarding TSmedia and illegal contents could accept that but why not this applicable for XBMCaddons and mediaportal,the three has nearly same contents.however this is not the first time that tsmedia persecuted it is banned in gemini forum for same reason and in the same time allow for mediaportal and xbmcaddon,but i can understand gemini forum because do not like me personally but i can not understand why some of openvix staff look in the same way to the tspanel and tsmedia
you can say what you want but the fact remains that more than 80% of linux boxes users use TSpanel and TSmedia
if you do not believe this put word TSmedia or TSpanel in your forum search and see in how many pages mentioned

Come on please, we're not talking BS here and we're not PLi.

Just look for yourself: unpack TS-panel and see what's in it. Costs you less than one minute to confirm what has been said.
And yes: I can personally confirm that TS-Panel does indeed cause mount issues and due to the system file ovewriting it can't be de-installed. A flash is required to get rid of the stuff.

And apart from that: I can't think of any reason why any user would want to use TS-panel. Nobody needs it, and I can assure you that most don't.

Providing plugins in the feeds that give access to illegal streaming methods is always going to be a contentious issue.

Indeed; as far as I can remember I never did.
tbh: I already record far more than I can ever watch. More than 75% of me recordings are deleted without ever being watched, so why would I need even more?

You're absolutely correct, but we're discussing TS-Media right now.

Iv found a issue with the tspanel and the mounts but i just remove devicemanger and reboot and then install devicemanger back and tspanel works no problems, been using it for ages and great to get most addons from different places. As for tsmedia only once did i get no displaying correctly but reinstall sorted that out.

So both work for me and do find it funny thats others do have problems. :thumbsup:

TSpanel is simply many servers offer old and new enigma2 plugins, i wrote this plugin in beginning of my life with programming,the code is simple and not genius but the value of TSpanel due to more than 20 great volunteers feed the servers of TSpanel by the new updated plugins
also i put more than 20 tools for user to manage his box like device manager,settings loader,screengrabber,satellites editor,cron manager and many others
now regarding device manager always warn the users to use image device manager if available else can use TSpanel device manager,but any device manager without user inexperience can cause simple problems but easily can be recovered
all jobs of TSpanel can be done by other ways but TSpanel makes linux receivers independent on pc tools like telnet and ftp and i think this is the typical situation should be .
TSmedia is another story and many found TSmedia give new dimension for their box by offering wide gate to web media
now linux receivers companies put TSmedia with the default image came with the box,This one example

TSmedia is simply enigma2 client for xbmc addons and with XBMCAddons for pcd are the first who make xbmc possible for enigma2

If so: those versions are not compatible with ViX (the 'bad magic number', or wrong python version issue).
