When I don't use remote for a while then press epg or menu the machine takes a short while to react it never used to any ideas only I'm not very good at this sort of thing ta

do you have a internal Hard drive with picons installed on it ?. as this could be a possible reason due to having to wake the HDD upon channel change etc.
