[VU+ Uno] vu+uno carnt find channels

hi there i got my new vu+ uno today and i carnt find any channels.im using sat 28 astra but carnt find anything
also need help with fta to my box im using filezilla i enter my box ip leave password blank but its asking for a port number and i carnt find it
any help is much appriciated.thank you

The port is 21 if your ftp client needs it.
Have you installed a channel list?
What are your tuner settings?

as pointed out in the above post by Trial, if you are using the latest image(s) with the latest drivers then you must also update the FPGA.

if your not sure how to update the FPGA just post back and we will walk you through the process, but beware it is a essential upgrade and must at some point be done if you want to use the newest images and drivers.

Becarefull when messing with skins, they can make your receiver unbootable. I'd advise only use skins in the plugins feeds.

my ftp is running on my box still carnt ftp using filezilla

Have you manage to connect to your box. Check you have the correct ip address. Menu: information : network

I think and it should list the ip of your box. Mines is always changing on my duo.

Did you do a settings restore from an image earlier than the 3.0 release?

no mate i had 3.0 pre flashed when i got my uno from world of sat.my ip is correct i use port number 21.just keeps saying wrong port

Have a try with i think its called winzcp.
