Which Sat box should I buy?

Hi, I am pretty new to this and would love some help getting a decent setup going.

At present I am using the Skybox F3S with a standard Sky dish with 2 cables, it is decent little box but lacks EPG and requires external HDD so is not very appealing to me.

So basically I need a decent EPG (at least 7 day) and a recording funtion that is ready to go. As I said I am quite new so it would need to be quite user freindly.

My budget would be £300.

Look at the Solo2, with forum members discount not far off budget...

Thanks Judge, just had a nosey looks good. Do you know how long the EPG is on this box?

Full 7 day epg.
Has to be one of the best boxes on the market at the moment for that money & is a pleasure to use using the ViX image.
You could also look at the GigaBlue & maybe TM range, but If I was spending that money, I'd go for the Solo2 again, no problem...

Gigablue Quad is fantastic and within budget. Also has option of increasing to 4 tuners if you ever needed to.

Rock solid and great with Vix. Would buy another if I needed to.

Now im stuck! lol Gigablue looks good and cheap enough that I can buy an HDD myself and still be within budget.
