Hey RVD!

i suppose its just the layout per say...and the bouquet old editor
Open Webif has to be manually refreshed...
However even this morning...a recording I made is playing as a 'green screen'..
And now more channels show green screen when playing on PC with VLC....

I ask this, as ViX never ever green screens!

RVD apologies, I mean when now streaming to my PC...its just not as good as it was...eg BBC1 & 2 currently will not stream to my PC..
always worked before E03...
Should i be posting my findings on dev forum?

I tried the openvix-3.0.245-vuduo I was unable to load any ipk files onto the image except HD Glass 16 skin, no cccam, no tspanel which I now know is not compatible.

I see the upgrade of FPGA but not sure how to proceed - there are a few files to choose from in the list?
After download, which file to start?
excuse my dumbness...dont want to make a mistake as its chip flashing!

you can do it directly from the image.

menu> plugins> Firmware upgrade> green button ( upgrade )> blue button ( download ) > select TS_PRO.dat and press ok. DO NOT TURN OFF THE RECEIVER WHILST UPDATING.

Yes thank you ...i found the uno_flash_upgrade_v1.1.pdf and it put me straight!

indeed i can now watch streams via PC without the errors after this flash

for ViX 3.x you need the extension mips32el for the plugins you try to install manually if there is no source included in the ipk.

Evening all, since the last update on my ultimo, im havin problems with the planner of recorded programs, its just blank when u go to hdd/movie via the remote control, only way to sort it out is to do a restart then all programs recorded show up, is it worth initialising the hdd again ? would i lose all recorded programs.

kinda the same here bandit

im running into an issue with the latest vix builds..
i turn my box off every night and turn it back on when i get in from work the next day.

everytime its turned on the hdd and usb are mounted the wrong way round which then i have to restart the box again and it'll put them back in the correct way.

any ideas?

Initialising = formatting = loosing all contents.

Its gotta be due to the last update rossi, as it never happened b4 hand when the box has gone into deep standby overnight, fingers crossed theres a soloution. wont be initialising it then lol. thanks

As far as i am aware.. none of the beta testers have ever had this problem on their Ultimo`s..

Maybe a reflash will solve those issues.. ?

It's probably not related to your issues but make sure you have updated the FPGA as it's a necessary update for your tuner cards with the latest drivers in the Image.

All is fine on my Ultimo.. Never ever had any issues with the HDD in it..

That includes the current build 249..

nor my self but i did have this happen once with the duo on a slightly earlier build, the USB and HD managed to somehow swap mount points, this has only ever happened the once and was ok after re-flashing the image again.

the problem needs to be acknowledged first, otherwise i doubt a solution will appear.
i bet most of the "testers" dont have this issue.

Then how about enabling the debug logs and submit those to us if this error reoccurs ?. otherwise we are just guessing as to what your problem may be.

Have you used mount manager to setup the mounts?

And you as a "developer" could possibly try finding a solution?

of course ive had a look, ive not got the problem today and come on here asking about it.
its been happenin for quite a few builds for me and ive been using 3.0 since build 40 odd or something with no issues..
ive been seein if any of my attempts work and hopefully any of your newer builds solve it but neither.

its only cos no-one else has mentioned the issue before and bandit said something about it, i posted as i thought it was just me.
