Lo there.

Been using Dreamdroid and BSPlayer on my Android tablet to successfully stream live TV without an issue for a while now (inside the house that is).
BSPlayer opens the .m3u playlist file that's generated from dreamdroid and streams which ever channel I choose. Its great.

But can't seem to get a setup that will stream the recordings I have made on my Duo. They just throw an error and curl up their toes.

Is there a recommended player app and config to get this to work??

Cheers.

I activated ushare in My VU+ and then used VLC player for android, works a treat.

hi can give more details on how u dot it working please
cause i tried with no success

Can you let me have a litle more detail on what problems you are having, is it Ushare on the VLC player that is the issue?

Hi,

I am having the same problems watching recordings, I have enabled ushare but I cant see where to put settings in to android vlc? Also is it the vlc beta or a different version?

If it helps, I think ushare running ok as I can now see the movies from my duo in vplayer but that just hangs on loading, both sd and hd recordings.

Any help would be great:thumbsup:

hi, i have enabled ushare but i just cant see my movies any where not in vplayer nor in vlc any help would b nice

You need upnplay for android, this will see ushare, then select movies and then your recorded file, and it will offer you a choice of players, select VLC Player and away you go.

Hope this helps.

That did the job, thanks.

Bit sluggish on hd but that's prob down to device. sd recordings run great though.

My phone also struggles streaming 1080i, although I am sure that some of the more current and better spec phones would have no problems.

Glad you got it sorted.

have quad core highest spec phone at minute and hd streaming still jutters. it is a restriction with android and ios os rather than hardware specs im afraid. Although with the arrival of the duo2 and its transcoding ability in future will be able to stream hd at a slightly lower but playable resolution

i think its a wifi issue the wifi is just not capable of handeling streaming hd i think
as even if i watch hd channels from my computer it struggles

hd stream no problem via wireless n from my router to my pc without issue but unfortunately ios and android lack a lot when it comes to streaming hd
