yes its a dual tuner with 2 separate inputs, both tuners set to 'simple' '28.2', i have tried setting tuner B to 'not configured' but still hangs, anything else I can try

I seem to be having a little problem my box and ABM (xtrend 9200 5.14) seems to hang during the "bouquets generation" and I get the spinning ViX in the top right and jams, I have tried reinstalling the image.

any help would be great

I think I may have found the problem, if I have anything ticked in the 'Hide Section' it hangs, if I untick all the boxes it goes straight through

any ideas why?

thats right. thats what happen to me. just give it time and it will sort it self out. roughley 5-10 mins

i have noticed on my ultimo when i press epg, its takes a while to open the epg (about 5 secs)

the vix logo spins first if thats any help


....

Hi, I am really new to this. Can someone tell me how to uninstall autobouquets because it may be having an adverse effect on my new autobouquetmaker. Also I seem to be frequently losing my chanel guides, some appear but for only a short timescale so you cannot check on programs a few hours in advance.

If you download from the feeds Menu>Plugins>remove plugins >extensions

Thaks for that.It appears that my menu problem is cured when I update crossepg and yet it is set to auto @ 4.00am so not sure why it is not updating?

Not working for me at all. I do not have Astra 1F coverage, and it starts from it. And just 'Timeout for tuner lock'.

Still having problems with crossepg not updating correctly. The autobouquetmaker has its own updating system so why use crossepg at all?

Try disabling your other tuners and see if that fixes it for you

The two have nothing in common: ABM is for updating channels, Cross is updating EPG.

as said above CrossEPG and ABM are totally different entities and in no way influence each other, try deleting your EPG.dat file ( kill enigma first via a telnet session ). then download the EPG again. I personally have CrossEPG / OpenTV and ABM running perfectly fine together on 6 different receivers.

This is about ABM?
As we have dozens of testboxes all using ABM & Cross & ....... without any problems, you'll have to tell us a bit more to be able to help.
First of all: is your box on build 534? If not, it should be the first step to upgrade.
Be aware: if you didn't do so before: if your present build is <build 521 your box requires a flash.

Yes, latest build, single tuner (tried simple, advanced config). I do not have 2F coverage at all - no lower transponders. But it looks like ABM wants to start with these, cannot see any signal (sits at 'scanning, found 0') and aborts with 'tuner timeout' msg.

Can you tune to BBC1 HD & try the ABM scan again?
No problems here for ROI scans.
How have you your tuner setup?

No, cannot get that TP either. Can get any other tp's tho (i use 12480v with roi e4/c4 most frequently). But i ran ABM numerous times, while tuned to working channels, only to get same msg.
I know, i know. Why the heck you want this as you don't have lower tp's? Why? I don't watch bbc and itv, but i watch almost every other channel without any problems. And, mind, it's only 5 first channels in epg lineup (bbc1/2/itv/c4/c5) i can't get...

And what you mean by 'tuner setup'? It's in simple more, single sat. Any more settings needed?
