I fail to see what ABM does for me that the Mr Mister listing for 28.2 does not, or am I missing something.

no disrespect to MR.misters work as i know he puts a lot of time and effort in to his bouquets, but the ABM plugin is significantly different in that once setup it's fully automatic. meaning no more missing channels or waiting for a bouquet to be updated.

Ok Phoenix, I do get your point and it is a great plugin and does save the time to keep updating. Any chance of a tweek to keep the bouquets to the last setting rather than reordering back to default. No disrespect to the developers

The plugin completely re-writes the bouquets on each pass, to be honest i'm no coder so i have no idea what would be needed to be done nor exactly what your trying to do your self.

i my self use ABM on multiple systems for sky uk and it works perfectly for me.

what i would suggest is that you create a separate thread detailing exactly what your doing and what you expect to happen as compared with the actual results. otherwise you run he risk of your posts becoming lost in this ever growing thread.

Not all the categories are being created and the channel numbers are wrong . I tried to create the bouquets after a tuner scan.

I've been using AutoBouquets 28.2E on my Dreambox which had proper categories and Sly channel numbering but I now have a Vu Solo 2 hence the change in program as ABM is built into Vix.

Such as local area setting used, any other settings you've changed and so on..

All settings under Provider Sky are set to yes including custom channels and local area setting is Granada HD.

you do also have the freesat option selected and set to your local region ?? as it is needed to populate all channels.

since i updated to latest version 3.0 build 569
i have installed ABM, i have all providers enabled.
when i i choose green button (satellites) i only have 3 sats showing, 13E 19E and 28E
i downloaded a sat xml and ftp'd to etc/enigma2 but still have just those 3 sats.
have i gone wrong somewhere?

have i posted this in the wrong forum?
if so, someone please inform me and i'll look for help there an this post can be be deleted.

no your in the correct forum, although this thread is getting rather large so it may be best to create a separate thread for your issue.

also what exact locations are you trying to receive ?, as the ABM plugin only works with a limited number of satellite providers due to the way they handle channels.

for example if i were setting up a motorized system up now i would use the Vhannibal E2 motor bouquet as a base pack, once that was loaded i would then fire up ABM and set it up to maintain and auto update my sky uk listings. This way i get the benefit of both worlds if you understand where i'm coming from.

The satellites that show up in the channellist (as I presume you're talking about the channellist) are in accordance with your tunerconfiguration. So please tell us what your tuner setup is.
Anyway: there is no relation with ABM.

hi guys, just wondering as i'm in ireland, is there a sky ireland listing available? i dont really want one to match ireland exactly thugh as the irish epg doesnt have itv or variations.. just be nice to have a combination of the both..

Use ABM to create Sky Ireland & Freesat London.
All the ITVs & variations will be created in the freesat, move the ones you want to a favourites bouquet...

No, you will get ITV1 HD but not the others as far as I'm aware.
Run a Sky London HD scan, use DBE to create your favourites, then run a ROI Sky scan, add the Irish channels you want to your favourites...
Long winded but you will get all the channels you want.
