It keep on freezing on me when I go into set up settings

we need a little more detail about your setup, as judge asked what image build are you currently on ??.

Guys can someone gimme a bit of help. Located in NI so have set the ABM for NI HD. When it runs it dont populate UTV in the 103 slot. Infact nothing is in the 103 slot. If I run ABM for NI SD the locals are correct but loose the BBC1 NIHD 1n 101.
I suspect that when UTV HD is on the epg it will fix it.

To be honest its not for me but my mate, I use the boquets to goto where I want rather than using numbering

I think this may have been asked before but is there any plans to add the channel number before the channel name on the infobar? Currently, there is only the channel name.

For example 101 BBC 1

love this on my 2 duos, i am trying to set it up on my gigablue for multi sats..does it work ok with multi sats? or do i have to just pick and chose ones i want and then add engima 2 settings for motorised set up?

Ive always used Mr.Mister bouquets and thought id give the autobouquets a whirl.

Its really good but i have a bit of a problem trying to sort out STV WESt HD region.

channel 103 doesnt populate with anything, the only way it works is if i select SKY STV SD but then i loose all other HD channels ie BBc Scotland Hd, c4 HD.

i ended up manually inserting STV sd by downloading the channels to DBedit and reuploading them once id added STV sd.

Is there any workaround for this? other than what im doing

im on Vix 600 at the moment

cheers in advance

Guys have fresh build of 600 running on Solo2. I downloaded Catseye settings from plugin feed. Then ran ABM. When ABM finishes the Catseye settings are gone, just the ABM boqeuts are visible in Favourites. Have tried with Likra and Cajon settings and ABM works correctly slotting in at the top of existing ones. But each time with catseye only the ABM Favs are displayed.

Started using this last night, really handy instead of having to manually update channels each time.

I did notice a few channels are wrongly named though;

303 - Sky Movies 007 HD should be Sky Movies Oscars HD
310 - Sky Movies Modern Greats HD should be Sky Movies 007 HD
124 - FX HD should be FOX HD

Same goes for the SD and +1 channels.

Other than that it works really great, thanks a lot! :D

afternoon!

is it possible the autobouquetsmaker can be adapted to work with cable?

afternoon!

is it possible the autobouquetsmaker can be adapted to work with cable?

im sure it would be possible, we built autobouquets for cable UK into the commando dbox2 images a few years ago. there should still be some old autobouquets patches somewhere on ukcvs for cable uk, or i should still have them lurking in the depths on my old dev system :)

ta for the info lraizer,

i have created a full set of bouquets for uk cable but itd be nice to have autobouquets maker do the work and create both for me when i do an update. atm its a ballache having to update sat then merge my cable ones.

would i need to use your autobouquetsmaker for this or can the vix one be modified with your patches?

i dont know if things have changed since the dbox days regarding the stream but if yee need any assistance in making this possible lemme know, i can try to get some info from the stream.

just looked in the stream on my network and the data in the Service Description Table still looks the same. here's some code snippets from an old patch that should give you an insight were to look for the required data that autobouquetmaker would need to read to create your bouquets.

No fix until stv HD officially comes to sky.

It would be nice if the coders could implement a solution whereby the end user could define (in a standalone patch file) non EPG channels that would automatically be imported into the bouquets when the autobouquet script is run. In this instance we would want to inject the STVHD channel info into EPG location 178. This means that the main autobouquet code would not have to be modified if STVHD channel frequencies changed in future - a concern that the coders raised when the script was first released. The end user would just need to update the patch file with the new channel frequency details. I've suggested such a mod to LraiZer for his autobouquet maker, and he's added this to his todo list.

Alternatively (or in addition), it would be nice if the script didn't carry out a HD channel swap if channels don't exist at both locations. This is what is currently going wrong with the autobouquet script. Channels 3 & 178 are being swapped - so STV is being moved from 3 to 178, and a blank channel is being moved from 178 to 3. The HD channel swap script is currently incorrectly assuming that an ITV HD channel exists at location 178. A little bit annoying!

Just remove the line
103 = 178
From custom.txt
That works for the LraiZer autobouquet script, but I wasn't aware that a similar feature existed for the official vix autobouquet maker?

have a look at the skyuk.xml file in providers folder of autobouquetsmaker?

Code:
	<swapchannels>
		<channel number="178" with="103" />
	</swapchannels>

few more bits you might want to change in the xml file also as its a bit out of date now. the conditional check for the namespace on transport id 0x7db is not longer needed so you can delete that bit and the BBCi dropped to just two channels a while back so range is out of date and channel id checks needs changing to 2051 <> 2053.

Cool. I didn't realise that. I kinda assumed that everything had been hard coded into the binary. Will give it a try later this evening.

Have you gave it a try yet?
