Is there anyone who can tell me why the HDD spins up when I change the channel?
This means that it will take forever to change channels.
I have set the EPG to USB storage.

Picons on HDD? Locate them in flash.

EPG may be located on HDD as that is only a hibernate file (EPG is always in RAM).

Picon have i stored on USB.
In EPG menu, I have set the EPG to be stored at /media/usb/
Would it then be saved on HDD as well?

Sorry, I'm a little poor in English.
Do you have a solution to my problem?

Are you sure picons aren't stored on HDD as well?
FTP in & check, delete any picon folder if there.

The problem, as I read it, is that your HDD spins up on channel change. The suggestion was to remove picons form HDD. Have you done this? Has it resolved that issue?

Please do not mention epg until after the HDD spinning up on channel change has been dealt with. This can be addressed later if necessary.

Picon has never been localized to the HDD, and there is no Picon folder on the HDD.

OK, can you enable PTS so the HDD is spinning fulltime, restart E2 & let us know if the same happens.

Do you mean: meny - setup - system - HDD - HDD setup and set it to "no stanby" ?

Or just enable Debug logs and set the save location to the HDD, this will also prevent the HDD from going to sleep.

Yes, that would probably do, or as pheonix suggests & handier as we might be able to see what's actually happening.
To enable PTS, Menu -> Setup -> System -> Timeshift Settings -> Auto start timeshift = anything but disabled.

Has been tested to be enabled debugs log on HDD.
Now I do not get the break when changing channels.
But I do not want the HDD to spin all the time. Is there a solution where it does not need it?

well, you need to find out why the HDD was definitely spinning up on channel change now...
again, I'd look for a picon folder on HDD & also check your remove plugins screen & see if you have any picon packs listed there.

Also, upload the debug log here.
