On the latest build if you try and use the search function of TS Media/You Tube the screen goes back to the picture you were originally watching however you cant change channel or do anything with the remote as TS media is still showing on the front display of the vu+ duo

It works fine on mine, just searched vu solo2 and came up with loads of video's. Open one fine and was able to exit ok

My TS media settings are set to

YES
KEY HELP
ENABLE
MOVIEPLAYER
ENABLE
AFTER TSMPLAYER EXIT

Same problem here using ViX build 800 on GBQuad.
Never use this plugin & now see why, it's a bit fugly & buggy...
Just installed the version in post 2 to test the issue.

Could seriously do with a proper Skinner's touch and a proper coders too for that matter, as fugly and buggy dont cut it some how LOL.

As streaming = downloading, without the added benifit of being able to watch later & shite quality on most streams...
I still don't get these plugins.

me either...

Plugins like these are really handy and not all the streams are of poor quality some of the hd ones are ding dong.

It takes me between 60 and 90 mins to DL and transfer a top quality blu ray, about 15-25gb, onto my box or I can spend 60 - 90 seconds to get the same movie on one of the streaming plugins.

So, is the quality of the 60 - 90 mins to download & watch anytime the same of the quality of these streams? if the stream is the same quality, it would use the same bandwith & you can't watch again, costing you more in bandwidth...
Personally, I'd prefer a proper torrent download over any streams, but we can't get into that here.
I'm all for IPTV but till the providers supply it, bootlegging it will always be a bad subsitute.

The streams aren't as good of quality but thats to be expected but they do save you a lot of time. Try some of the hd content on icefilms i'm sure you'll agree its very good.

I'm not sure how much bandwidth streaming uses and something like that doesn't concern me as I've unlimited usage. Also, storing 20gb movies soon bungs up a hdd.

To be fair the IPTV streams aren't that great but I think in the not too distant future they'll be the way most of us will watch tv.

No interest in using the plugin & no interest in getting into a debate in howto use it.
If you enjoy it, please use it.
As for "unlimited usage. Also, storing 20g"' you're seriosusly missing out.
HDD space can still be a lot cheaper than online wastage, dependng on your service provider.

I'm not interested in a debate either because I agree with you that they aren't as good as some of the other options available. I was just pointing out how they can be useful as you said that you don't get these plugins.

this is s a good discussion but getting back to the original problem which i logged the way the mods wanted it what happens now does someone look at these problems or do they fall down a black hole?

Gordy, Did you try back dating your image, to be fair I'm still running 796. As for the debate I use the service to catch up on series that my box omits to record at times.

hi craig im not going back to the older image I always go forward and this will probably be a temporary glitch which gets sorted
