[VU+ Duo] AutoBouquetMaker HD Bouquet

Try just scanning your sky options options. theres no need to scan for freesat as channels in this come with sky anyway.

In ABM you must select both a freesat and sky region in order to pull in all the channels, it has always been this way and only takes a couple of minutes to do.

I've always wondered why there was a need for Freesat as well as Sky region. Sky started before Freesat and is independent. I just went along with the instructions.

When we first started with ABM we found that if we only selected a sky region it would only generate around 600 channels but would generate all of them if we scanned freesat too. Plus freesat uses a slightly different regional database based on the BBC region codes, so if you select regions for both you get a more accurate regional bouquet.

Bbc1 HD does not swap for me when using sky Scotland?

For the following areas, BBC1 is now in HD by default. It no longer needs to be swapped.
Scotland
Northern Ireland
Wales

As userbase of users in said area is smaller than England, there has been not been much comment. The English only had BBC 2 go HD by default. This has already been implemmented in image.

1.
If you use the current file in the image, HD swap will do the following, names in blue
<channel number="141" with="101" />
<channel number="142" with="102" />
<channel number="230" with="104" />
<channel number="171" with="105" />
BBC1 SD with BBC1 HD
BBC2 HD with BBC2 SD
Channel 4 HD with Chanenl 4 SD
Channel 5 HD with Chanenl 5 SD

If you want BBC1 in HD, do not swap. You will lose the other 3.

2.
The xml file for said areas that were posted have the following lines
<channel number="142" with="102" />
<channel number="230" with="104" />
<channel number="171" with="105" />
BBC2 HD with BBC2 SD
Channel 4 HD with Chanenl 4 SD
Channel 5 HD with Chanenl 5 SD

Enabling/disabling HD swap does not affect BBC 1 Hd.

Hi Abu,

many thanks for your reply. not sure what said area is. however i must have option 1 because i tried it and lost the other 3 channels. is there a way to keep the hd channels and have bbc 1 hd?
i guess perhaps not

I removed the swap line but BBC 1 still remains in SD for me.
