[GiGaBlue QUAD] Won't boot with external hard drive plugged in

Hi
I have a Packard Bell 1tb external hard drive, when i reboot the box it doesn't get passed the 'loading please wait' splash screen..When i unplug the hard drive it boots fine. i then plug the hard drive back in and i can use it as normal again..It worked fine on previous releases and i have tried the front and back usb's

You are on build 0??

What format is the drive?
How long did you allow the box to be on the splash screen? If Linux wants to do a diskcheck it can take quite some time.

It is build 002, i did put it on the detail form before i posted
Ah ok i didn't know it might take a bit of time to do a disc check, but it was longer than 3 minutes and i tested it about 4 or 5 times in 2 usbs. In previous versions it has worked fine
The format is fat32

OK, I corrected the build number.
A disc-check can take much much longer then a couple of minutes.
FAT32 is by far the worst file system to use.
Best is to have the disk formatted (initialised) by the box.
