i have been discussing in another thread about trying to change the settings for the red record button autotimer within in the epg.

Currently if you press the record button you get the add timer and add auto timer. If you select add autotimer it will only find recordings on that specific day.

I would like to be able to edit the settings so it can find recordings for any weekday.

Now i know this is available via the blue button but i think it would be neater and quicker if it could be done via the red record button.

If it would be possible for this to be included it would be great.

you need to edit your AutoTimer Defaults.

The idea is a quick entry with your preset settings

Now i know this is available via the blue button but i think it would be neater and quicker if it could be done via the red record button.

Indeed the way for an entry with different filters.

Hi rob I'm I'm that menu

Only thing I can see relating to days is

Restrict to events on certain dates and this is set to disabled.

I can't see any other options relating to days

I'm trying to edit filters but have no idea what I'm changing lol

Guess I'll need to stick to the blue button for programs that are on more than one day a week

Well spent a couple of hours adding weekday and weekend filters to try get this to work but still only records one day

Then it may be depending on e.g. description? Maybe the description details in your EPG-data are the same for all events?

Anyway: I always use the blue button; just to be in control of the settings myself.
