[VU+ Duo] software update not working

Just updated to Helios build 010 via USB flash and backup restore, and now when I select software update it just continues to show package list update as downloading and that is how it stays, only way to stop it is to reboot. I suspect the only option is a fresh install but would be interested in finding out if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution.

i had to rebuild 010 as first attempt stopped half way through, just run a nother update.

First time that has happened, but the re flash did the job and all working OK.

I think I know the answer but thought I would double check. Can I upgrade to Helios from Zeus 023 without a re-flash. There is no updates available from <menu<setup<software update

no you cant, you must flash the image but you can create a settings backup using Zeus and restore that to Helios.

Well I thought the re-flash had fixed the problem, the first upgrade went fine, then I got a green flashing light and the problem is back again, just stuck on downloading. I think the only solution will be a total fresh install.

Got round to doing a fresh install, but still getting the same problem, update stuck on download for about 20 minutes and them shows ocram. Picon updated. Anyone else had this problem?

yes thats exactly what will happen if you have picons installed from the image feeds, as every picon must be deleted and then copied over one at a time, this is a very time consuming process.
