[GiGaBlue QUAD+ PLUS] Re-flash 040 issues

It's worth trying it mate to rule the loop through out.

Hi
OK, set tuner B to 'not configured' and performed a scan on tuner A. Scan completed OK and I reset tuner B to loop through to A again.

Now then, when I was typing this reply I needed to check the exact words on the tuner B that I had set (not configured) and when I cancelled out from the menu without saving, I had another crash.

The bit where you set things up after installation is called the first install wizard.

I have flashed my receiver whicjh has a terrestrial tuner and performed an automatic scan during the FIW. It did not crash. We'll have to wait for someone with same receiver as yourself to re-enact the steps you have taken.

Ignore teh looop through comments for now. Provided your software setup matches hardware there should be no issues. Incidenatlly, when you have two tuners available only for one sat, automatic scan will only offer scanning on the one tuner.

Your last crash has nothing to do with scanning. Were you watching Xena?

Yes, scanning on one sat tuner is normal.

Yes, Xena was playing.

So how can you be watching xena through your receiver when you have just flashed it, are in the process of performing an automatic scan during the installation process?

Need to be able to recreate your issue to be able to have a chance of resolving it. Re-installed image about 4 times trying to track your issue down.

I'll await a step by step guide to reproduce issue before looking into this again.

Hi

Sorry for the confusion. I had 2 crashes while scanning, and 1 crash later on while responding to a reply on this forum. These were separate issues. The last crash happened when I used the Menu tree to see what an option I had used was labelled as ('not configured') so I could reply accurately. This crash happened when I tried to exit from the Menu, back to the currently playing programme (Xena). So, the crashes were distinct from each other.

The steps I took for the first 2 crashes are posted above.
