[VU+ Duo2] Oscam reverse?

Can anyone explain why a new version of oscam was introduced then removed, is it buggy or are we able to use it manually?

There will be no more cams added/modified on the feeds. Perhaps removal of some.

The way cams work in the Vix image is as this:
Drop the binary in /usr/softcams and ensure it has relevant permissions. Priovided that you have configs, it will start.

To recap
Download your chosen one from following category "mips-tuxbox-oe2.0" at the oscam download site. Extract and place in softcam folder, chmod 755.

We have always had a "tentative" relationship with cams here and even though we have softened our stance a little, allowing cams back into the feeds, we still prefer to maintain a suitable distance for good reason. which is why we still remove the default and blank config files for cams on our feeds allowing users to provide their own.

we have had some quite lengthy discussions of late among the team about providing the latest version of certain cams as we do with many other plugins but for the time being we are going to stick with what we have as we feel it's more than adequate for most users, those who need the latest versions will know how to get hold of them from else where.
