Hi,

It may be stupid, but could this crash be caused by the lack of media player installed on my box?

My box crashes when I want to play what I recorded earlier.

=============
Vu+ Duo2
ViX appollo 109 from 23rd dec 2014

MyMetrix1080p

plugins installed
oscam (manually)
MyMetrix (manually)
Netatmo (manually)
OpenStore (manually).

I've been expressively testing my new box, and stumbled upon this problem.

Thank you for any ideas :)

ViX comes with a well functioning media player, so no idea why you think you don't have one?
Also, crash = crash log, found in /home/root/logs/ by default.
Please upload atleast one as without any, it's just guess work as to what the issue might be.

No idea what's causing that crash.

Does it still happen without plugins like Netatmo installed?

strangely i never use a plugin to view recordings on internal hdd as i just press the button which looks like filesR which is on my duo remote and choose location.

Yes as Judge says ViX, in fact all enigma2 images have a perfectly adequate media player built rite in by default.

Netatmo is not a media player but the latest version of that plugin tries to show some info when the media player is started and that makes the media player crash.. Using the version 107 of the Netatmo plugin will work...

Thanks, I don't think I will need this plugin any more.

I was just double checking regarding the player.

All works fine now, except a few issues related to the skin itself.
