Eutelsat 16e w2

Hi. I have 1mt motorised setup with usals. No issues with any other sats but for some reason can only pickup 21 services on scan. Has been fine in past. Any ideas?

Theres a good chance that if you have recently updated your setting that your satellites.xml is referencing 15.8 & not 16. If so you will have to ftp to it then open with Notepad & edit it.

How and what do I need to do this. I have used dcc for basic stuff but have no idea where to start here. Thanks.

ftp into etc/tuxbox and open satellites.xml

scroll down until you find Eutelsat 16e w2 and it will have 15.8 e in brackets -- change this to 16.0 east.

or unzip the following file and ftp it into file into etc/tuxbox

reboot after doing either of the above

Had a look at XML file and degrees is already at 16. Not a clue what to try now. Thanks for advice so far

I edited my satellites.xml with notepad but still all channels were grey. I used your satellites.xml and it did the trick.

One more thing I had to do though: after restarting enigma, I had to go to settings/service configuration to change the DISEC ports of my tuner, which for whatever reason always defaults A port to Astra 1.

Question: Just out of curiosity since the satellites.xml webpage generates Eutelsat as 15.8 E, why everyone that creates the settings, names it as 16E? :O
