How to make a image of my box

My box crashes a lot and gets stuck in a rebooting loop...

Only way to get it working again is to reflash.

My question is, whilst i have a working copy and i have the plugins i want, can i make an image of the box, so that if i need to copy an image back to the box, i can use my usb key?

Press Blue button > VIX Menu > Image manager > Create a back in there, press Menu to choose media/hdd or media/usb

I would be thinking about returning the box for inspection or replacement.
I have ever only had a green screen on v1.1, and freezes whilst messing about with plug-ins.
Other than that is has been rock solid. (though i did have a fault on v2.0 that was router related)

One other thing i would try is to only load the bare minimum.
Only add extra features until the rebooting loop comes back. That way you can find out what is causing the problem.
If it suffers rebooting loops with the bare minimum installed, then the box must be faulty.

I wouldn't recommend returning for inspection or replacement, not without asking what's been installed and crashlogs etc..Most greenscreen loops are down to user error :trustme:

I see what you mean Sic.
That's why i suggested he slowly adds his plug-ins/extras until the looping came back.
If the looping started after a clean fresh re-flash, then i would suspect the box etc.
