I get that occasionally. Many missing program titles, just the times.I deleted my epg cache and did a forced opentv download and the data was badly corrupted. Most of the descriptions were missing and some short descriptions were just random characters.
I've seen that too, particularly when I'm testing (doesn't seem an issue if I just let the OpenTV scheduler do its stuff). Sometimes I've had to create a epg file to break the cycle.I get that occasionally. Many missing program titles, just the times.
I have the impression that it's caused by some kind of data corruption that is hard to get rid of. I typically repeat two or three times deleteing the EPG cache and rebooting and that fixes it.

You would need to only delete the channels being downloaded, and also would have to occur for all types including eit.Could this be cache issues? If so, any value to adding option to delete cache before it downloads epg data? Happy to try code it in as a PoC
Quick look at CrossEPG and it looks like it deals with epg cache via new cache instance!

I've fiddled with EPG Refresh and I now have it doing OpenTV first, then Freesat and then Freeview, and I'm going to see if that makes any difference.
So far I think it does seem better.

No doesn't seem to make much difference.
I will try with Freesat EPG switched off next.
Not much different with Freesat and EIT EPGs switched off.I will try with Freesat EPG switched off next.
I think Running EPG Refresh soon after midnight gives the most weird extra EPG entries and soon before midnight the least, or maybe none.![]()

Live cricket ended yesterday, so that was probably a change of schedule.
I'm seeing ""Sunday Brunch" on CH4 freeview (originally scheduled to start at 11:45).
I wonder when the change of schedule actually happended?
