[TM-NANO-SE] Tivusat old blue stripe card

During a sort out of my no longer used receivers yesterday, I was pleasantly shocked and surprised to be able to clear Tivusat package on old Technomate nano se with vix 6.2.011 image with this old official card inserted in reader slot. I thought to have read somewhere that these blue striped cards had been killed off a long time ago.
This card originates from a Humax box that my dad brought back from Sicily many many years ago that I fitted for him here in uk. I also tried card on old Technomate nano my with latest vix image but card was not recognised. Is this to do with image or card reader firmware?
I am looking to possibly purchase a new ABcom mini since my beloved Vu+ zero 4k finally died on me last week, can anyone confirm whether this old card will work in its reader slot?

If will be turned off, its just a matter of time. It may work for days or months, but it will 100% be turned off at some stage.

The card will work in any card reader provided you have a relevant softcam installed.
