For me this only happens when something is interfering with the satellite signal.
For example, heavy rain or a bird lands on the satellite dish.
This is probably a signal fault rather than a bug.

I’ve been having similar issues on my Vu+ Duo 4k se,

Random pixelated screen, recording and playing the recordings!!

I’ve ended up back to the original 6.7.001, as it continually got worse with every update to 6.7

This is alll very strange

I doubt very much that has anything to do with image version and as no one else has reported it it looks like it is something broken at your end.

I also have a VU+ Duo 4K SE and found on windy days, the DVB-S2X tuner that came with the receiver suffers bad pixelisation on windy days. I swapped it for the DVB-S2 tuner I had in my original VU+ Ultimo 4K and that one is rock solid with no pixelisation even during periods of fierce storm force winds.

I've concluded that the DVB-S2X tuner has a much finer tolerance to variations in signal than the older DVB-S2 tuner. Sadly, older DVB-S2 tuners don't seem to be sold anymore.

I admit, I've not purchased a replacement DVB-S2X to see if it is a general issue with the newer tuners or if it is just an issue with mine. If the old tuner ever gives up the ghost I may be forced to buy the newer DVB-S2X but they don't come cheap.

Another fix for me maybe to buy a smaller dish that doesn't have so much play on the arm.
