Have you tried re-flashing WITHOUT settings restore?

My situation is that I have Openvix 6.6.005 on Zgemma H7S acting as the server and Vix 6.7.014 on Edision OSMega as client.

Streams start fine but within a couple of minutes, sometimes only twenty seconds, the stream will stutter briefly and then stop.

Changing channel restores the stream but it fails again after a short time (usually within a minute).

Any ideas please?

1st update both to latest level.
I assume you have disabled all tuners on the Edision and enabled client
Also how are the boxes connected - wifi or lan?
I have 2 boxes connected via client server - one via lan and the other by wifi - no issues.

I've held off going to 6.7.xx on the Zgemma as I want to retain the Stalker plugin. (I understand it's not supported in 6.7.xx).
Yes all tuners disabled on the Edision and Client Mode in use.
Also all hardwired LAN.

P.S. I could always go back to 6.6.xx on the Edision if you reckon that would make a difference.?

Afraid you should go forward. There are various plugins that should handle your need for a stalker type interface, so lets fix taht issue now.

Is this your first attempt at client mode? and is it WI FI or LAN? ie are boxes connected via cable or not. Have you given static IP addresses to each box?

Can you stream using openwebif?

say make and model of router. and what skin are you using?
