Thanks for the good news. Must have be put on the server this morning.
I could flash my box and the settings are recognized. However do I have a problem: twol made two plugins which are not in the store. So far I always could copy the backed up folders to ftp://vusolo2.local/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions, reboot the box and I got them. This time I could not copy the folder and files in place. Do you know how I get them up and running again?

hbbt-tv plugin does not work under the new image. First I could start the hbbtv on stations like ARD, ZDF but selecting a media got stuck on loading (I have internet). Next I uninstalled the plugin and downloaded it again (hbbtv (6.8+ 3908) but it is the same.

on Vu duo2 samba does not start after reboot and installtion.Need that to copy files quick an copied already old files

Sadly there are no 6.8 images for my Mut@nt 51 and SX988 boxes. :(
Are my options to wait for someone to build images for these boxes, use another distro who still provide images, or DIY OpenVIX images myself? I suppose I can stick with the 6.7 series in the interim, but how can update the imdb plugin manually because it has stopped working.

DYI is one option, I'm currently still building SF4008 and Gigablue Trio pro and now also Edision os Mio.
Also need to build feeds and I simply copy "ipk" folder to /media/hdd/ ja edit all opkg paths to file:///media/hdd/ipk/...

Or edit the feeds url in meta-oe/conf/distro/openvix

I suppose this can be added on the list of one-more-thing I need to do. Is there a current thread/URL with instructions to set up a build system?

I really would recommend you to build them yourself... and you will get plenty of help here if needed. In a pinch they can even be built on Windows in a virtual machine.

From the web traffic it would seem only a handful of people are using the SX988. The Mut@nt 51 quite a few more but not even 0.5% of web traffic. So it takes the same web storage and build resources as a popular machine for very little interest. And right now forum donations are not covering the current server costs.

Maybe if some users were willing to sponsor machines to help cover the server costs they could be built... but @Sicilian would have to take the decision on that.

If it's about disk space, why keep all old 6.6.001 - 6.7.020 releases? Maybe worth keeping only some of them?!
Also it would not be required to build every release for every machine.

Is there a how to, please?

Fair enough. From these stats we can conclude there's little demand for these builds.

Actually, if you look into the archives images go as far back as Openvix 6.3.005 for Mut@nt 51 and SX988. Removing all but the last 3 images should free up a few GB of storage. However, there's compute resources to build the images which don't come free.

What about osmio4k+ ?

It's funy that Edision is on the list of NON suported boxes, as long as this site advertise the sale of this box !!!!

On the ARTE channel I could do another test and there I got an interesting error message

I have no problems with HbbTV and ARD alpha HD, ARTE HD, ZDF HD channels. I'm using webkithbbtv (6.8+gitr3906).
