Just to say you can use a solo2 to watch IPTV. Have you tried

Not for his provider. The problem is the receiver is old so will not be compatible with some modern video formats or codes.

No updates coming for solo 4k from the manufacturer.

Sf8008 on the other hand is a current and supported box.

I have both. I prefer the solo for the fbc tuner, the display and being Broadcom. The SF8008 is excellent value for money though.

i have the 2 vu+ solo 2 they are friends of mine one as just got a GiGaBlue UHD Quad 4K PRO and the other is using a Zgemma H9s se for the moment but they was looking at a Zgemma H17 Twin as there seems to be not alot of boxs about is there an image for the h17 as i saw this on another site openvix-6.9.000.release-zgemmah17twin_recovery_emmc.zip/file

That site is own by a German retailer as far as I know.

Well its a German retailer that appears to have Vu+ brand in Germany and Belgium. Although they talk of owning the Vu+ brand in Europe, I wouldn,t bet on it appearing that fast in the U.K unless they set up a UK outlet
