Using OpenATV or OpenVIX, how can I add m3u4u link to AJPanel for IPTV ?

I have been using Google AI to try and talk me through it but it is a nightmare, I keep getting errors on things it suggests. So I have a m3u4 streamlined channel list of IPTV, it is on my Drop Box as that is where it pushes the link to, it gives me a link, I put this link inside a text file and point AJPanel to this text file. When selected in AJPanel it keeps saying the URL inside the file is invalid, but it is the link m3u4u gave me.

Here are some questions...........

1. I want to add a few of the IPTV channels to my OpenATV (or OpenVIX if better) channel list, so not the usual 50k channels, I shrunk it down to a handful in m3u4u. I want to add those channels amongst the rest in a bouquet I made in OpenATV called Favourites. Can I do this ? AI is saying yes. I am using the slyk-1080-r19 skin.

2. AI has suggested AJPanel but says there is also JediEPGXstream, XStreamity and Multi-Stalker Pro available, which is best and easiest for what I want to do as mentioned above ?

3. How do I fix the problem in the first paragraph of this post ?

Why don,t you ask first here or did you ask openatv and got the usual no answer?
First bin the AI crap and suggestions.
Second decide which image you want and then get that working first…..usually setting up iptv is reasonably simple.
For openvix I would install m3uiptv from the feeds, written by an openvix developer that integrates into the image, there are various posts on this forum to help setup.

Thanks. I am very new to all this, only just got the box up and running, so I am experimenting with the different boots, both OpenVIX and OpenATV seem the same so far from what I have used in the last day or two but I am sure that isn't the case deeper in the settings.

I have downloaded the IPTV plugin you suggested with OpenVIX, I am now on the IPTV page in the settings menu. Where do I add the server info to ? I am using the Slyk 1080 R19 skin. EDIT, I have just seen the playlist manager.

Also, how can I use my PC with OpenWebif to input URLS and any text on to the screen ? I click the text icon and it popups on my PC saying to type text in, I do this but nothing happens on my TV screen even when I am on the text input screen (virtual keyboard).

For m3uiptv you have to enable plugin webif via settings. Then restart enigma and you will be able to access the plugin webif on http://<box ip>:3090. Search in the forum there is tutorial about this
