VIX 2.1 Time-Shift

Theirs a problem rewinding and forwarding time-shift from one speed to another (4x to 8x etc) like the previous VIX version (before patch).

same here, only works at 2x speed, but atleast it works. getting better... thanks guys.

Is it just me and judge that are having this problem, as it seems Andy is not too sure about it and nobody else has commented on this.

I maybe having this problem because I'm using the Magic HD skin.

Judge, are you using the official VIX HD skin or is it a different one?

It's working perfect for me now using VIX 2.1, latest updates applied on the default skin.

Time Shift from USB only pauses and plays for me. Fast forward and rewind do not work. To Play I have to press Pause again. Play button does nothing. :s

I changed the skin back to VIX HD and Time-Shift rewind/forward works fine now, weird....

I'm getting same problem after upgrade to 2.1 , rewind is jittery at any speed for me on any skin , even after reverting back to original vix hd skin the problem is there. I have ran update also after flashing 2.1 on to the box

I still have a problem with time-shift :- When I want to rewind a program/event, it will only go back till when the current even started, it won't go to the previous event which started before the current event.


I have set time-shift to 5 events and up to 180 minutes.



Why is this???

I will try and set it up later today and see if i can replicate the problem, other than that have you tried disabling PT save and reboot then enable it set it up again and reboot and try again?

Magic HD Skin being used here so thats not your problem

There's nothing a skin can do or do wrong in this matter.

ive got the footy on atm but ive set it up so will check it when its done and see if it works

hey frank i left it to test and just got back to find that i was able to go back 5 events spanning 250minutes exactly without any problems with rewinding and forwarding...
what skin are you using mate?

I'm using Magic Hd.

Which skin did you test it with and did you have VIX 2.1 with the latest updates?

yeh vix 2.1 with latest update and using hd glass skin. do me a favour and just try it with the default skin as im sure someone on here mentioned having rewinding/timeshifting issues before but cant find the topic... jus try with the default skin and stick it on a channel with short events on (i tried bb2) and get back to me and lemmi know

Just tested time-shift with the VIX HD skin and I still have the same problem.

i take it you have it enabled on ur hdd?
