My settings are the same, just the save location is different, mine is media/hdd.

It didn't make a difference.

Strange, we both have the same image and the same update, but time-shift doesn't work for me properly.

hmmm and im guessing you have already done a reflash and updated and tried again?i honestly dont know why its not workin for ya. i did an update last night too so everything is upto date so not sure mate

Yes I did reflash VIX 2.1 and added the updates to my box.

When I flashed my box with VIX 2.0 time-shift works fine.

hmmm ok do a reflash with 2.1 but dont do an update and then try the timeshift again...

one thing i wanted to ask, when you get to the end of the current event... it continues playback... but have you presses rewind again.. i know it sounds silly but im sure it stops rewinding and continues to play instead when it gets to the beginnin of the current event and then you have to press rewing again to get to the event before and so on...

Yes m8, it won't let me rewind anymore once it goes to the start of the current event.

It seems that it only affecting a very small minority of users it could be hard thing to fix if no one on the VIX beta team are experiencing the same problem

i think it might be best to post your HDD name and model as this is more likely to be a cause of the problem rather than a VIX image problem

I'm going to reflash VIX 2.1 without the updates and see if that will solve the problem and I will get back to you.

Time-shift works fine with VIX 2.1 without updates...

right just stick to it without the updates for now until the devs can find whats causing it. its a strange one because i have full updates and all working fine, but in your case it works when you dont do updates. but in the meantime just stick and we'll see what happens

There's nothing a skin can possibly do to interfere with timeshift.

i know, we were only doing trial and error, got there in the end. turned out to be a problem with the maybe a bug in the updates

VIX 2.1 with latest updates, Time Shift works perfectly for me... much better than 2.0
