VIX 2.1 Time-Shift

Will the new update fix my time-shift problem, as I don't want to reflash VIX 2.1 again.

yeh silverfox had the same problem last night after i went through it with you and late last night after the updates he got his working, so just take a backup of your current setup and try an update and it should have all been fixed

Just updated my box and everything is working fine now. :thumbsup:

Time-shift seems to be a problem for me again with the very latest update. :smash:

Silverfox, can you confirm whether you still have the time-shift problem, after the latest VIX 2.1 update.

Theres been another update frank, try the siftware update and see if that fixes it

Fast forward and pause is fine , but rewind is as shown

Does it make any difference if "Show PTS Infobar......." is set to "Yes"?

What is your timeshift path? To an internal HDD?
Is rewinding during Playback normal/better?

Its internal hdd yes, path to timeshift is set to hdd/timeshift , rewinding during playback is just same as shown

OK, so you have a general problem, not related to TimeShift.

you mean playback as in rewinding a movie on the hard drive? its slightly diff it doesn't rewind or jitter like on the youtube clip it just jumps back to certain parts instead of rewinding as if I was skipping back a chapter on a dvd
