To be fair what I tend to do so avoids this memory issue is with the multi sats i just manually do them. I select a small handful to auto update at 4am. And other ones just manually do them whenever.

I have some problem with subtitleplayer and i cannot use forward or backward subtitle with < or > button
and i can not change subtitle position in vix 2.2

Just a word of warning for others who aren't online all the time with their box:

Setup -> System -> Customize -> Online Check every (Hours)

Do NOT enter 0 ! It checks now as often as possible. You can't click away the error boxes faster then the box generates them. So only a re-flash helps.
Do NOT enter a very high number like 999999. It crashes the box with a green screen of Death.

I would prefer to be able to disable it.

I'll give the Glass HD16 skin a try as soon as I can spent some more testing time.

btw :
I think I now know were this problem is coming from : the Kerni HD1R2 skin wich I downloaded in the VIX 1.3 version is different from the one I downloaded in the VIX 2.2 version although both have HDR1R2 as version number.

I checked the contents of both images with E2Skinner2.exe and found that the second info-bar is not present in the VIX 2.2 download so I dont think it's an image problem.
I will also check if the VIX 1.3 download will work with the VIX 2.2 image.

For anyone who's interested in the same info : I found the VIX-HD image presents all extra data without any problems.

The readability from a distance is not as good as with the Kerni HD1R2 skin.

There's a challenge for someone to rebuild the VIX-HD skin with a different color-setting. anyone ???

Look to the best skin Magic-HD or Magic EHD. It contains everything, that means screens for all plugins !

Finally I had the time to convert to version 2.2, and so far it looks very good. Thanks! For the moment I have one small problem: pressing the EPG-button gets me (for the moment) 10 lines showing the ongoing program title for ten channels, and the two (approx) next shows for each channel. In the last version (2.1) I also had a window (upper right corner) showing the program from the actual channel I was at, and if I moved the cursor through the EPG-list, I would get up info about each and every program that I pointed at. Now I only get the titles, and no extra info, and no picture in the upper right corner.

It might have been a setting I did in the last version, but unfortunally I can't remember... I do remember that I could choose how many EPG-lines I would have on the screen, and I could set the EPG-button to show VIX-EPG. Now I can't find any of these options.

I have not changed the skin in 2.2, but in 2.1 I used a skin called DMConcinnityHD. Is it possible that the functions and settings I miss, is related to the skin?

If you think you know what I mean, and maybe also know how I can get this straight, please help.

Try going into menu/setup/system/remote setup and make sure u have the correct epg button mode. Also when that is set, press menu and you can configure the epg there. Select yes for PIG (picture in graphics) and set the number of items to 5 if u want to show picons too

Thank you very much! Picons is something I will test when I get my summer vacation, so thanks for your advice.

Another thing; the auto language settings (subtitles) are not working. I tried "all" possible combinations, but for no good. Finally I gave up, and did it the old fashioned way. I had the same problems in 2.1. In Scandinavia we have a mix of teletext and DVB, maybe this is the problem..?

IMDB search not working post Vix 2.2 Install

Please confirm that the IMDB plugin is not functioning properly on this version.
When I press red for search within the epg I get "No IMDB match.
