I am using the XMLTV plugin and the Rytec EPG data it downloads for multiple providers is being saved on my ETRAYZ NAS.
Using ViX 2.3 on a Vu+ Duo.

The problem is that the EPG data goes missing after reboot, i have to redownload the EPG data manually to see it again.

Is this working as designed or should the EPG data be reloaded automatically after reboots?

I would not recommend using a NAS for EPG data, a few of our beta team have had some serious problems using this method, it's far better to use a USB stick in my opinion.

That hardly makes a difference. EPG disappears much too easy in the latest ViX. I have to redownload them often too.

it makes a massive difference. and my epg that is housed on a usb stick for both the uno and the same for my duo has never vanished once.

Never had a an issue with EPG going missing, only evert occurred once and that was due to the box crashing and losing mount points other than that EPG on USB has been fine.

Have you got the option to reload enabled?
