Hi

I'm super confused with timeshift.

I use it with no problems within a show. But when my 5 year old lad decides to pause cbeebies and go to the toilet, which can take forever, he'll come back and press play and all is good for a bit. But then it'll jump forward.

Does timeshift do something in between programmes? This is a guess as the shows he watches are 10-15 mins in length.

Are you sure that it's actually jumping forward and not back to the beginning of the program. On my box timeshift, instigated with a pause, has an annoying bug on reaching the end marker for a program jumps back to the previous start marker rather than just carrying on with displaying the delayed version of the channel. The > button on the remote (just below the 9 button) has to be used to jump forward to the next start marker. If you press the > once too often the box reverts to live TV and the timeshift buffer is lost!
