for some reason that doesn't work for me . if i have sly UK and sly IT selected and my dish is pointed at 28.2 ABM read channels from sly UK and when it start looking for sly IT channels i get message - can't tuned to sly IT and i'm forced to press escape . and the result is - it doesn't write any bouquets .
We are aware of a bug related to using a motor.
What you could try is to point the motor to 13.0E, playback a recording and whilst doing so run ABM. That did the trick for me.

yes i have motorized dish and i need to start some movie so i can scan with ABM when on sly UK , when i'm on sly IT ABM scan 13 e without need to start some movie . so that part of the problem is sorted out . what i can't sort out is - when i scan with ABM slyUK , and later i point to scan slyIT , all previous bouquets that are made for slyUK are gone and i have bouquets ONLY from slyIT and my premade bouquets . so what i did is that i check both providers in ABM menu ( slyUK and slyIT ) and it doesn't matter if i point to slyIT i receive popup information that eider slyUK can't tune ( if i'm pointed to slyIT) or vise versa . i also tried with movie ON and after movie start to scan with ABM but again no go . also i can see that ABM is reading channels from pointed satellite but it can;t read those from other provider .
so again ... how i can keep previously made bouquets with ABM.

You can't: as I said this is intended behaviour.

Well, of course you can, by simply fooling ABM.
Download the settings after the first ABM run with an editor and restore them. This way the settings are not made by ABM but by yourself. Now make the second ABM run.

hi my abm starts to tune sky thenv it gives timeout for tuner lock what does this mean please????

fooling i'm doing , but if thats intended may i ask why not to use that overwrite bouquet on satellite that you are scaning , but leave other made bouquet from ABM that are on other satellite . because no matter how good you are on fooling ABM in the end you must edit bouquets ....
thats just my opinion

Scotland West HD is pulling in STV from the east coast. Edinburgh news at 6pm. Not sure if Scotland East HD is pulling in the wests version (Glasgow news). Small thing, but would be handy if it could be fixed.. keep up the great work.

Yes it is. Im in Glasgow region. I just select Scotland east hd instead

I don't want to set boxes up looking at East, for it to be fixed in the future. Hopefully this is the place to highlight it. :)

This is the coding in the xml file

Code:
		<configuration key="border_scotland_hd" bouquet="0x1006" region="0x24" namespace="0x11a0000">Border Scotland HD</configuration>
		<configuration key="border_scotland_sd" bouquet="0x1002" region="0x24" namespace="0x11a0000">Border Scotland SD</configuration>
		<configuration key="scottish_east_hd" bouquet="0x1006" region="0x25" namespace="0x11a0000">Scottish East HD</configuration>
		<configuration key="scottish_east_sd" bouquet="0x1002" region="0x25" namespace="0x11a0000">Scottish East SD</configuration>
		<configuration key="scottish_west_hd" bouquet="0x1006" region="0x26" namespace="0x11a0000">Scottish West HD</configuration>
		<configuration key="scottish_west_sd" bouquet="0x1002" region="0x26" namespace="0x11a0000">Scottish West SD</configuration>

If they are indeed transposed, could someone test changing east to west and vice versa. Alternatively 2 to 6 and 26 to 25. If this fixes it, then I'm sure AndyBlac/Skaman will commit it to the updates.

Could someone test whether this sorts the east/west issue? Please back up your copy first. File is located in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/AutoBouquetsMaker/providers

I have had to compress the xml file.

Guys if you want support you have to help us to help you.

Abu has gone to the effort to fix something for you so please test it, if it works we can submit the fix to the GIT.

There is no point in making bug reports if your not going to at least try to help your selves ( my opinion not that of the ViX team as a whole ).

Been on the nightshift so had little chance to test. And the only time we can see if it has made a difference is when the 6 o'clock regional news is being broadcast.

I will test tomorrow as missed the opportunity to test today and report my findings.

Big thanks to Abu for taking the time

Thanks, and i was not having a pop at you, but there are many who sit and complain about things who then wont help when asked, my reply was just a general gripe at the masses and no one in particular.

Hi Abu I have tested edited scottish xml and it is now working correctly. Well I only tested West Hd and its now giving the glasgow news. I can only assum the East is now giving the edinburgh news

Big thanks to Abu. Next thing is to get it made into a permanent fix so the xml doesnt need edited after every update.

added to git, for next build thanks mate.

just a small bug with the autobouquet maker. in advanced under SKY IRL when you swap HD channels it swaps RTE 1 and RTE 2 HD with BBC 1 HD and BBC2 HD. can you set it so RTE 1 and RTE 2 HD are left and all other HD channels are swapped? SKY UK swap works perfect. thanks

Why do I get the message saying "can't read the file" when Autobouquet finish the scan.
Any idea what file it's looking for?
