Best box for me ?

Hi,im looking to upgrade my sat box from skybox m3.Im looking for something with 7 day epg and single tuner with plenty of support on the software side im looking at spending upto £180.The vu solo seems a good buy but before commiting would like advice from people with more knowledge.Thanks in advance for any help .

Any of the broadcom based boxes will do you well but the Solo is a little on the old side now and starting to show it.

Have a look at the Venton HD receivers they seem to be doing well at the moment and no real reported issues with them that i know of.

I know that's just a wee bit over your budget but with the sponsors fiver off voucher you can get it for £184 and you always have the option of adding another tuner at a later date to turn it into a dual tuner receiver.
