Hi suddenly my sat box started go go into a startup loop please help my mrs will kill me if she doesnt get her tv fix.
Switched off box ovednight but problem is still there .NOT clever enough to think of the solution myself please reply in simple terms pleeaase ,photo of onscreen report here

Looks like the flash memory is full. You possibly have been storing epg data to the internal flash rather than a hard drive or usb stick. Or maybe you have been recording to internal flash. You should be able to connect to the box using ftp if you had a password set and delete those files and the box should boot.

Thanks ,after pressing the front buttons in no particular order it went back to normal and i flashed it with the latest version .Trouble is its been so long since i chose channels i have forgotten how to do it ��
Looking at the settings i cannot spot it there either so back to the vix handbook ,thanks again

Thanks all ,not an exact newbie i have played with satelite when BSB was the norm but at 68 i forget who the person is in the mirror never mind increasing complicated ways to view television ,i thought programming filmnet decoders was a pain now compared to modern boxes it was easy lol

The problem was found my hdd died so i guess the flash memory got full pretty quick ,i expect in the multi choice world of sat box programming it ignored logic and filled it up.
