[GiGaBlue HD800UE] Build with the latest drivers won't boot

Hi, I tried a online update to build 692 but once the box rebooted all I got was a spinning vix logo. I tried a fresh install with builds 690 & 692 but I get a spinning vix logo on the video selection setup page.

Is this something to do with the latest drivers as build 688 with the old drivers boot fine

Any ideas?

can you give me a serial boot log please, attach a serial lead and connect.

Hi Andy, the gigablue ue doesn't have a rs232 port. Any other way I can get a boot log?

Right got the box to boot past the spinning vix logo. Have to unplug the hdmi cable every time I restart the box and it boots up fine it's only when the hdmi cable is plugged in it doesn't....weird!

have you tried another HDMI cable to ensure that one is not faulty ?, as it certainly sounds like it is.

Tried 2 different hdmi cables and still won't boot unless i unplug it from the receiver.

Try flashing with nothing but power cable connected.

Update the software to the version 694.
With this the problem is solved for me.
