[VU+ Duo] cant get rid of .txt

hi guys,


when i try to make a CCcam.cfg file on a text document (right click, ne, text document), instead of saving as CCcam.cfg it saves as CCcam.cfg.txt even though i saved it at all types.

please help.

Umm.. this doesn't sound like anything any Vu+ receiver would do. :-?

I'm assuming the OP is using a Windows PC to create the empty file. Notepad+++ would do it or, better still, use a linux box

hi it does not transfer when i try move it from my desktop to etc folder.

hi mate i have downloaded this but when i save the document, it saves as Wordpad not notepad. and although wordpad has the CCcam.cfg perfect it does not go into the etc folder at all

i tried that mate still stays as wordpad not notepad.

Just use something like DCC, connect to your box then use FTP to go to /etc then either create the file from new or transfer the file you have from your PC to the box then rename it. Use right-click to get to the options to rename, edit, view etc..
