[VU+ Solo2] Can't update anything - is server down?

I tried to download a plugin earlier and it my vu crashed. gone to try again and it says there has been an error, please try again later. if this issue persists please check openvix.co.uk or world of satellite.com
does anyone know if the server is down; IF it is then can someone point me in the right direction to where i can see the server status.

It's working fine with me. The server status can be seen in the image download section - select it from the quick support menu further up the page

Pleas give in telnet the command

opkg update

This has happened a few times on my solo2 recently, a reboot enables server access again but a few days later I can have the same problem, a reboot enables server .....

Your debuglog might shed some light, or the output of the telnet command

That sounds like an IP address (DHCP?) issue.
Check that the box still has network connectivity when these errors occur.
