Have re-flashed Solo2 with latest Vix image Hellios 016 and upgraded CCcam from 2.1.3 to 2.3 but when I reboot the box the CCcam has to be re-started manually despite setting it to auto-restart.

I have reverted to CCcam 2.1.3 and the CCcam now auto-rerstarts as it should do. Is it the Hellios software that has a bug or is it a problem with the CCcam 2.3 version?

A side effect of the problem was that the selected skin, Open PLi HD was also reset to the default Vix skin that comes with the Solo2 as default. When CCcam 2.1.3 is installed this side effect is also eradicated (i.e. Skin stays as set).

Any information / help on this problem would be appreciated, particularly which CCcan version is best to use with Solo2 Vix image.

Where did you get the cams from ?
Try removing them and download them directly from our own image feeds, I use CCcam my self from the feeds and Auto start works perfectly on CCcam 2.2.1 for me.

I'm running cccam 2.3.0 on my solo 2 running helios 017 & metric hd skin without any issues

CCcam 2.3.0 on all my boxes and works fine (including autostart).
Please install the cam from the feeds via the pluginbrowser.

Hi,
change permission to 755 of the bin file and it should work.

Telnet to box

cd /usr/softcams
chmod 755 *

ciao

Cams came from this site - talking of 2.3 not 2.2.1 (i.e. 2.3 seems to cause the problems but 2.1.3 is fine) - haven't tried 2.2.1 again yet!

I bought vu+ solo today, how i get cccam on my original Image is my question, where do i get the pluginbrowser, how can i install the cccam i am using dcc 1.20

greetings

You need to install ViX or whatever image you want to use and install CCcam 2.3 from the plugin feeds.

He wants the cam on the original image... You will need to find cccam 2.30 for e2 ipk, find where temp install from directory is on original image, FTP to that directory then execute ipk, failing that you can just get the actual cam file, find where softcams go on original image, FTP file to that directory and chmod 755, then restart.
Or like Andy said install VIX and have it make most things you want to do be downloadable from the feeds.

Why you would want to use the original image baffles me, absolutely yuk it it!!! [emoji13]

Unless something has changed with the OI lately it does not even contain a cam manager, so installing and managing softcams on the OI can be a very painful process and not at newbie friendly.
