You have httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.1-192.168.0.255, while your IP is 192.168.1.64

it's 192.168.1.64 - should i add this into the code somewhere and yes i'll transfer those other files now as well, do both the server and user files go into the config folder as well?
Ok. Firstly, you'll need to modify the httpallowed line in oscam.server to:

Code:
httpallowed                   = 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255

And yes. The oscam.server and oscam.user files go to /etc/tux box/config

You should then be able to access your oscam webif by typing 192.168.1.64:12347 into your web browser

Tried all that - copied your previous linked thread codes for .server and .user and still no change, i can access webif via just my ip address, but not when i add the port number.
Above you said i need to enter the http allowed code to the .server file, am i right in thinking you meant into the .conf file?

Judge - i assume just writing...

httpallowed = 192.168.1.64 won't work as the codes seem to be a lot longer than just your ip address??

Yes. Sorry. I meant the .conf file. What you suggest for httpallowed should work fine. Remember to restart oscam from your remote control when you make these changes to reload these files.

I really appreciate you taking the time to answer my queries - i've had no joy with webif after i add the port number. I did notice when i go thru oscam info on the remote that the port number there is 16002, although the code is for 12347, is this something i should change?

What happened by typing 192.168.1.64:16002 in your browser?

You need to put the port number at the end of the ip address of the port that is listed in the webif part of conf file

Can you go to etc-tuxbox-config,copy and paste here?

It was port 12347 that was listed in the conf file - when i put that in the page can't be displayed. Like i said the code is setup for 12347 but going thru the remote into oscam info the port there says 16002, whether this is an issue or not?

Sorry. Just realised that 192.168.1.64 is your sat box IP, so that won't work in httpallowed. It needs to be the address of your PC / laptop. Best to put in a range of IP addresses, though. I'd go for httpallowed = 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255

127.0.0.1 is local host (direct access from the box).
192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255 is any PC on your local network.

Remember to restart oscam after changing the file.

What web browser are you using?

What web browser are you using?

I'm using chrome

Should work fine, then. Just change httpallowed as I suggested and restart.

Thanks everyone for the replies, have tried everything and there's no change, tomorrow i'll try and reflash from the latest vix helios image again, start from clean, and then use the codes supplied amazingly by all of you...
Someone confirm, other than the conf file, are the .server and .user files essential?

oscam will start with just the .conf file.
.server & .user files can created by webif the last time I tried.

Oscam starts fine, it's just not being able to log into my port via the browser that isn't working, when i'm in webif i can change channels etc...from my laptop.
I think i've diverged pretty far from my original post as well, where i was trying to get my 100% legal sky card to work with the solo 2 - so thanks guys - i'll let you know if i get this working
