Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this support request? If not, maybe you could point me in the right direction.
I have a technomate nano 3t, its working great.
I've added MSI Megasky 580 dvb-t usb tuner. After installing a few kernel modules, the usb tuner is up and running and listed in the tuner list. From reading the specs on the MSI tuner it has a Quantek QT1010 tuner (http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Quantek_QT1010) that is capable of receiving dvb-c.
The tuner is listed as a dvb-t tuner. In the vix / enigma2 settings for configuring the tuner it shows terrestrial configuration options.
Please could you tell me how I switch this tuner to operate in dvb-c mode?
I've had a poke round in the file system and can see that /proc/bus/nim_sockets lists the tuner as Frontend_Device: 2, Mode 0 : DVB-T.
I have a feeling there is probably a config file or init script somewhere I need to edit but don't really know where to start.
Any help or pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
